Executive Chef of Bill’s By The Beach
Prior to his position with Bill’s By The Beach, Chef Jon served as executive chef at the Beachcomber Cafe at Crystal Cove in California. He quickly became a driving force in the Orange/LA County area, and was labeled “King of Coastal Cuisine” in Orange County.
Chef Jon received his formal culinary training at Le Cordon Bleu in California. While in school he was fortunate to work alongside Cat Cora, Guy Fieri, and two star Michelin Chef Édouard Loubet. He has been recognized for the skill and perspective he brings to his menus throughout his career, with spots on talk shows and publication of his recipes in magazines and cookbooks.
Most recently, two of Chef Jon’s uniquely inspired dishes were featured on a 2015 episode of the
Food Network series Beach Eats along with two of his unique and sensational dishes:
- a southern-inspired Shrimp & Grits made with course ground yellow grits from Oakview Farms Granary in Wetumpka AL, a homemade authentic red-eye gravy, and topped with blackened wild-caught Gulf Shrimp, tomato, and red & green onion concasse;
